A Look back at September ... A Wee bit Late
Okay so I am a little late with my observations of September. Mostly because not a lot happened the past month.
As we draw closer to the midterm election in November, September showed us that nothing is for sure for the election. Some people are still predicting a tidal wave for the Republicans in Congress (a tidal wave being a take over of both houses.), but polls in September showed a general tightening of most races on both sides.
This month marked the ninth anniversary of 9/11. A planned Muslim Center two blocks away from the site was protested because it was somehow nothing more than a mosque that was being built at Ground Zero. All kidding aside it still amazes me that people still believe that they are trying to build a mosque at Ground Zero. What also surprises me but should not surprise me is that people do not know that there was a Muslim Prayer Room in the Twin Towers.
College football finally ramped up and controversy already started all surrounding a college in Idaho whose football team plays on a blue field.
A former witch that can not figure out what college she went to won a primary for Vice President Biden's old seat.
Least I forget a very special birthday to John Lennon who was born today October 9, 1940 with easily his best song and one of the best songs of all time:
